Norwich City look set to complete a move for Benfica's Portuguese international striker Nelson Oliveira.
Reports that the 25-year-old had travelled to England to complete a Carrow Road switch surfaced yesterday, with Portuguese sports newspaper Mais Futebol subsequently claiming the former Swansea City loanee has had a medical and is on the verge of completing his switch.
Olivera has spent the past two seasons in English football, scoring nine goals in 29 appearances for Nottingham Forest last season in the Championship.
Alex Neil has made it clear he wants to bring in two new strikers, ahead of next Wednesday's transfer deadline, with Oliveira reportedly poised to join on an initial loan deal, with the option for a permanent move.
Olveira, who also spent five months on loan in the Premier League at Swansea in 2015, appears to be out of favour at Benfica but has two years left on his current deal at the Estadio da Luz.
