Our Norwich City correspondent Paddy Davitt has posted his marks following the Canaries' sorry surrender on the south-coast
City were battered by Brighton and ex-boss Chris Hughton and this is Paddy's verdict on Alex Neil's troops.
• Michael McGovern
An absolute horror show. No pun intended on Halloween weekend. Robbed for the first goal, Superman act for the third in trying to claim Jiri Skalak's cross and then another woeful attempted clearance that ended in his own net for the fourth. 4.0
• Russell Martin
Captain's brutal post-match media interview was the best performance of a forgettable afternoon by any Norwich player. Caught out by the speed of Brighton's counter for the second goal. 5.0
• Ryan Bennett
Unable to control Michael McGovern's dire clearance for Glenn Murray's hat-trick goal. 5.0
• Timm Klose
Worst display in a Norwich shirt by some measure. Beaten aerially by Lewis Dunk for the third goal. Ridiculous 'pirouette' as his manager called a costly slip that led to Brighton's fifth. 4.5
• Martin Olsson
Glenn Murray tried to suggest a head butt from the left-back in the first-half. The Swede just lost his head in a frantic aftermath. Beaten in the air by Murray for the second goal. 5.0
• Graham Dorrans
Long way short of those influential outings in the good times, such as Nottingham Forest away. City's play is too slow and ponderous of late and Dorrans is in the side to set the tempo. 5.0
• Alex Tettey
Beaten in the air along with Martin Olsson, for Glenn Murray's second goal. Booking means he misses what is now a huge Carrow Road clash against Leeds. 5.0
• Jacob Murphy
Best moment was a first-time cross that just evaded Cameron Jerome's near-post run. Another game that passed him by. 5.0
• Wes Hoolahan
Tested David Stockdale for the only time in the contest with a dipping long range shot after the game had long since drifted away. 5.0
• Alex Pritchard
Berated mercilessly by a home support who remembered his summer snub. Too lightweight and too passive. 5.0
• Cameron Jerome
Zero service from supposedly some of the most creative midfielders in the Championship. Usual appetite for work and willingness to run the channels. 5.5
City substitutes
• Nelson Oliveira 5.0
Misfortune to be introduced moments after Lewis Dunk had made it three and effectively sealed the win.
(for Jacob Murphy, 67)
• Steven Naismith n/a
(for Wes Hoolahan, 74)
• Robbie Brady n/a
(for Alex Pritchard, 74)
