Our Norwich City correspondent Paddy Davitt has posted his marks following the Canaries' sorry defeat
City's miserable winless run away from Carrow Road extended to eight games, and this is Paddy's verdict on Alex Neil's troops.
• John Ruddy
Denied Anthony Forde and Will Vaulks in a frenetic second-half. Badly let down by the men in front on both goals. 7.0
• Ivo Pinto
Usual attacking thurst. Lack of communication with Jacob Murphy led to the carnage of the winning goal, with Joe Mattock escaping down the Millers' left. 6.5
• Russell Martin
Serious questions over the centre-backs for the opening goal with the manner Jerry Yates was left unattended. Did head a second-half chance off his own line. 6.5
• Timm Klose
Woeful miss from barely four yards when he tamely stabbed the ball goalwards. Same charges apply to his fellow centre-back on the opening goal. 6.0
• Steven Whittaker
Beaten in the air at the far post for Tom Adeyemi's winner. No midfield protection to check the same player's run to the byline for the opening goal. Raking pass did set-up Norwich's equaliser. 5.5
• Alex Tettey
Something of a protected species now with injuries and unavailability in central midfield. Plenty of ground covered but against like-minded teams he needs much more assistance to fight fire with fire. 6.5
• Jonny Howson
Another injury, another anxious wait. But culpable for the origins of Rotherham's opening goal in the manner he allowed Adeyemi to run in behind to pick out the unmarked Yates. 5.0
• Jacob Murphy
Couple of decent early runs in the final third but end product was lacking. Rotherham's winner came down his flank, and City's collective failure to sense danger. 6.0
• Steven Naismith
Looked set to find some joy in those pockets of space higher up the field but once Jonny Howson departed he found himself in a much deeper central midfield role. 6.5
• Wes Hoolahan
Constant source of creative intent. Capped by the drop of the shoulder outside two players and the inswinging assist for Cameron Jerome. Striker may have had another one in the first-half after Hoolahan mesmerised a number of Millers' defenders to roll in the overlapping Steven Whittaker. 7.5
• Nelson Oliveira
Clearly seething from an earlier robust Kirk Broadfoot challenge that went unpunished, left him needing treatment, and cast as the villain for the home fans. Broadfoot manhandled him to the ground at a corner but the referee only saw the retaliatory swipe from the Portuguese striker. Total lack of discipline. Now missing for three games. 4.0
City substitutes
• Cameron Jerome 6.5
Got his goal, served up by Wes Hoolahan, but looked to spurn an equally good chance from Whittaker's low cross in the first period. Then miscued Alex Pritchard's late free kick.
(for Jonny Howson, 24)
• Alex Pritchard 6.5
Couple of probing free kicks almost brought reward for the 10-men,
(for Jacob Murphy, 69)
• Kyle Lafferty n/a
(for Alex Tettey, 80)
