There were despondent reactions from Norwich City fans at Carrow Road and on social media this afternoon, after a disappointing draw with arch rivals Ipswich Town.
Jacob Murphy's 69th-minute strike earned the home side a point, after Jonas Knudsen had put the visitors ahead, as the East Anglian Derby ended in a frustrating stalemate.
The result has left some City fans fearing for the club's promotion hopes, with the Canaries left sitting six points adrift of the play-offs.
Luke Fisher, 28 of Sprowston said: 'It definitely felt like a wasted opportunity, particularly given the weekend's results.
'We've been playing really well at home recently, so this feels like two points dropped. I thought we looked happy with the point towards the end and Alex Neil could have changed things more to go for the win, instead of settling for a draw.'
Eddie Allison, 42, said: 'Sadly, it is looking like we will be playing Ipswich again next season.
'We created plenty of chances, but unfortunately just didn't take them, which was very disappointing.'
Another fan commented that the result was 'two points dropped', adding that 'Ipswich's keeper played a blinder'.
