There will be some big-name casualties at Norwich City this summer as the Canaries look to revitalise what has become a stale squad.

Sporting director Stuart Webber has been in post for only a number of weeks, but his straight talking rhetoric has already earned praise from supporters.

When Webber said before Friday's game against Brighton that he could foresee only '12-15' of the current squad being here next season it prompted debate amongst the fans.

They didn't disagree, but with 28 names on the back of the programme the pub debates began as to who the unlucky 13 could be to miss out.

Whether Webber can instigate such a churn of players and still ensure City are fighting for promotion next season will be a real test of his networking and negotiating powers. It also highlights just how important it is that he makes the right choice for his head coach.

Alex Pritchard is arguably City's most saleable commodity and it comes as no surprise that he is the player fans most want to see stay this summer.

Ivo Pinto isn't far behind in the supporters' reckoning though and demonstrates him being one of the few players to emerge with a modicum of credit this season. Jonny Howson could argue the same and it is understandable fans feel he should play a central part in the club's revival. Whether James Maddison does the same remains to be seen given the competition in front of him, but the City faithful want to see him given a chance to deliver on all that promise he's shown during in his young career.

But it's the players that fans want to see heading for the exit that has got the most people talking.

Yanic Wildschut has done little to convince supporters the club was right to splash out a reported £7m for his services in January and judging from the poll not too many would mourn his departure.

The same can be said of Alex Tettey and Steven Naismith. Tettey hasn't had the destructive impact in central midfield he had in the Championship before whilst Naismith has been something of a let-down since his £7.5m move from Everton.

But the most surprising aspect of the poll?

More people voted for Michael Turner in their 15 than Sebastien Bassong.

Having said that the fact remains most fans want to see the back of both of them this summer...
