Life in Holland continues to suit Todd Cantwell nicely, after scoring his second goal in five games.
The Norwich City loanee fired home the second goal during a 3-1 win for Fortuna Sittard at FC Eindhoven on Friday night, being played clean through into the box and rolling a low shot past the keeper into the bottom-left corner.
Sittard are third in the Dutch second tier and four points adrift of leaders NEC, keeping their hopes of promotion to the Eredivisie alive, with Dereham-raised playmaker Cantwell helping to revive their form.
Carlton Morris hit the post during Shrewsbury's 2-0 home win over Walsall to stay second in League One, starting alongside fellow City loanee Ben Godfrey. Remi Matthews helped Plymouth to a 1-1 draw at Fleetwood to stay sixth.
Otherwise there was little loan action, Steven Naismith playing all of a 2-0 loss at Hibs for Hearts in the Scottish Premiership and Kenny McLean all of a 0-0 draw at Partick, with Russell Martin injured for Rangers' 3-2 home loss to Celtic.
Yanic Wildschut was an unused substitute for Cardiff during a 3-2 home win over Birmingham in the Championship but Marcel Franke played all of a 3-2 home win over Heidenheim for Dynamo Dresden in the German second tier.
Ebou Adams, recently named player of the month at Leyton Orient, played all of a 1-1 draw with Ebbsfleet United in the National League.
