Daniel Farke admitted it felt like a wake in the Norwich City dressing room after his shot-shy Canaries were held to a seventh Championship home draw in a 0-0 Bolton stalemate.
City blew a stack of first half chances at Carrow Road, before running out of steam in the second period to settle for a fourth consecutive league point.
But Farke conceded this one felt nothing like the thrilling recent comebacks against Derby, Ipswich and Wolves.
'It doesn't feel like a win.
'It is pretty frustrating to sit in the dressing room and settle for a draw,' he said.
'At half-time we must be 5-0 or 6-0 up and the game is done.
'In recent weeks we were able to dominate good sides, the top teams of the league.
'This was a different task against a team concentrated on defending. You could say it was our best performance of the season at home, in the manner we gave nothing away, but I am not happy and the lads are not happy.
'I am so sad for the supporters because they come wanting to celebrate the win.
'Maybe when we calm down we will see it is a good performance with no problems in defence and creating 100pc unbelievable chances where you say it must be a goal.'

Farke was prepared to defend his players for a lacklustre second half offering, which came nowhere near the dominance of their earlier shift prior to the break.
'We were playing a third game in six days, Bolton had an extra day, and you have to be really precise against a team who only want to defend,' he said.
'There was going to be a period when they drop even deeper, we get maybe a bit more tired and frustrated and they are time-wasting.
'After missing so many chances it is normal we went through a period where we couldn't create the same level.
'We are in the same league.
'It is not like you can play in a way where you look four levels higher for the whole game.
'For 25 or 30 minutes the difference was not so big.
We have to accept we are not able to maintain that outstanding performance, with the speed we play and create chances.
'Bolton had something to hang onto and calmed down everything.'
