Our Norwich City correspondents pick the bones out of the ‘best away performance of the season’ in a 1-0 Championship defeat at Nottingham Forest.
Daniel Farke was in no doubt the Canaries’ City Ground display deserved more than Daryl Murphy’s sour late winner, that extended Norwich’s search for a victory in the league to five games.
Add in a similar six-game stretch in the Championship at Carrow Road and you can understand the nervousness around Neil’s pending return with a Preston side who beat Bristol City away 2-1 on Tuesday.
The boys cover everything from Farke’s post-match verdict in the East Midlands to the quest for more goals and the performance of Mario Vrancic in a deeper-lying role. Plus, of course, the potential for Neil to exact a measure of revenge on his old club.
