Although the game at the Lotus Training Centre in Colney was behind closed doors - with fans urged not to attend due to coronavirus restrictions - our regular Canaries photographer, Paul Chesterton of Focus Images, was able to observe from a distance.
City legend Russell Martin brought his League One side to his former training ground as both teams stepped up preparations for the 2020-21 campaign.

Norwich, fresh from Premier League relegation, moved through the gears to lead 2-0 at the break thanks to a brace from youngster Josh Martin - with summer signings Danel Sinani and Przemyslaw Placheta setting up the goals.
As a host of substitutions began, Marco Stiepermann added a third early in the second half, Adam Idah made up for missing a penalty as he made it 4-0. Onel Hernandez continued the rout with a fifth and Emi Buendia completed a good afternoon’s work.

The new season soon follows, with a trip to Luton on Saturday, September 5 in the League Cup first round and to Huddersfield on Saturday, September 12 in the Championship.
