Alex Neil suffered his first away defeat in the Championship as Norwich City manager after his side lost 3-0 at Birmingham City.

The Canaries were punished for slack marking that allowed David Davis to open the scoring to make it 1-0 to the hosts before the break.

It got worse for the Canaries in the second half after Steven Whittaker conceded a clumsy penalty and Alex Tettey's weak back pass was pounced on by Clayton Donaldson to seal the Blues' first home win of the season.

Norwich City for the second game running tried to impose their cultured, passing style on opponents who refused to allow them time and space.

Alex Neil's squad were hassled, harried and eventually bullied into submission.
