A 41-9 win over Swaffham at Scottow propelled North Walsham Raiders back to second ahead of Diss Saracens who could only draw 15-15 against Norwich Medics.
The Raiders' points came from tries by Will Haynes (2), Henry Hunt, Lee Thomson, Ted Morgan and Will Minchin with Morgan adding two penalties and Minchin kicking a penalty and a conversion.
Swaffham's points all came from the boot of Ed Jones.
Norwich Union beat Beccles 17-7 in a hard-fought encounter which was played at Beeston Hyrne as their own ground was being prepared for a fireworks display.
Jon Spicker, Craig Dunbar and Michael Shucksmith, touched down for Union while Callum Slaughter added a conversion and the www.osteostasis.com man-of-the-match was Daniel Norgate.
In EC3 North Walsham Warriors lost 27-24 to Wymondham III with two tries for Sam Flagan and one apiece for Greg Wills and George Masdin with Aaran Dhesi adding two conversions.
