Gorleston cruised into the semi-finals of the Norfolk Senior Cup after a well deserved victory at Emerald Park last night.
The Greens moved ahead on 21 minutes when Chris Sandford netted with a 25-yard thunderbolt and quickly doubled their advantage through an Ali McKenna header.
The game was over as a contest early in the second half when the home side made it 3-0, Sandford crossing for Gary Williams to slide home. Diss, who had come back from 2-0 down to earn a replay, again kept battling to the end and were rewarded on 77 minutes when James Speller headed home a cross from George Watts-Sturrock.
