Norfolk will be competing in Division Three of the British Inter-County Championships after a successful trip to Wales.
The Norfolk team headed to Breconshire knowing that a victory would see them promoted from Division Four – and with Wiltshire and Clwyd also hoping for promotion the pressure was on.
Norfolk Ladies A had already secured top place in the division and were hoping that the Ladies B team would also be crowned champions – which they did with a 5-1 victory ,
The Men's B team lost 7-5 but Norfolk were 10-8 up going into the action on day two.
The Ladies A lost their first game of the season 4-2, but the Men's A beat a strong Breconshire team 9-3, giving Norfolk an overall win of 21-15 and with the three bonus points for winning, it meant that Norfolk were promoted as champions, finishing 11 points ahead of Wiltshire.
