The route to the 2016 Rio Olympics is taking shape for Norfolk rower Lucinda Gooderham, after being called up to the Great Britain team for the World Championships, which start in France on Thursday.
The 31-year-old, from Garboldisham, near Diss, is part of the women's four team which have been added to the squad, with Rebecca Chin, Karen Bennett and Holly Norton.
The event takes place in Aiguebelette between August 20 and September 6, and is also an Olympic and Paralympic qualifying regatta.
Gooderham and Chin were finalists in the women's pairs at the GB Rowing Team Senior Trials in April.
