Norfolk travelled to Merseyside looking for back-to-back wins in the Inter Counties Division Three League.

Norfolk Ladies B started the weekend off well with a 4-2 win before the Men's B team earned a well-fought and well-deserved 6-6 draw.

The Ladies A and Men's A teams were not so fortunate, going down 4-2 and 8-4 respectively, leaving the overall result 20-16 to Merseyside.

Men's captain Kevin Rudling said after the match: 'I am so proud of the team, by the way they fought to the end and turned some games around. We must take this positivity into our next game away to Humberside in a few weeks time.'
