The Norfolk girls' team took on their greatest sponsors when they played their regular match against the Royal West Norfolk ladies.
On this occasion, in very strong winds, the ladies won the encounter. Results (girls' names first): Ruby Plume (Sprowston Manor) lost to Janie Preece 1 down, Juliet Fenton (King's Lynn), lost to Sandy Martin 1 down, Charlotte Hatch (Bawburgh) beat Bridget Nicholson 3 and 2, Lauren Asker (Barnham Broom) halved with Jane Gould, Alisha Margerum (Thetford) beat Sue Reindorp 6 and 4, Sian Fenn Green (The Norfolk) lost to Nickie Martin 3 and 2.
The Brancaster ladies are the girls' biggest supporters and made it possible this year for an elite group to visit England coach Paul Ashwell for mind-game coaching.
