What a week it has been for anglers at the Norfolk & Suffolk Flyfishers at East Tuddenham.

All visitors bar one have enjoyed limit bags with one angler in particular – regular Noel King from Rackheath – going home with an extremely wide grin, having banked a superb brownie.

It pulled the scales round to 3lb 9oz, taken from the top lake, tempted by a green damsel nymph. This has been by far the most productive pattern here this season and is also Noel's first 'go to fly'.

Places are now beginning to fill up for our first 'Try the Fly' session on March 11. Tuition, tackle, licence, refreshments and the chance to take home two trout all for just £10. Details/bookings at www.norfolkandsuffolkflyfishers.org.uk.
