King's Lynn Stars' wait to return to action has been extended thanks to this week's wet weather.
The Elite League Stars – who last rode at home to Wolverhampton Wolves on June 2 – were scheduled to visit Coventry Bees this evening. But the fixture has already been postponed as the rain continues to sweep the country.
A Bees statement said: 'The Elite League clash between the Buildbase Bees and King's Lynn at Brandon has been postponed.
The track is waterlogged from the heavy rain this week, and further downpours are forecast for today. A new date for the fixture is to be confirmed.'
The pair won't have to wait too long to lock horns for the second time this season with Coventry pencilled in to visit Lynn on Wednesday.
