Lambert and Martin in running for honours

Canaries boss Paul Lambert and striker Chris Martin have been shortlisted for the League One manager and player of the month awards respectively.Lambert won the award for December, since when he has led the Canaries to six wins out of six in the league to go three points clear at the top.

Also up for the award are Millwall's Kenny Jackett, who Lambert will come face to face with at the New Den on Saturday, Swindon's Danny Wilson and Geraint Williams of Leyton Orient.

Martin scored five goals in January and has now scored 18 times this season, having recently agreed a three-and-a-half year contract at Carrow Road.

The name of the winning manager will be announced during the Sky Sports Soccer Saturday afternoon show this weekend, while the player's award will be revealed on Soccer AM, which starts at 9am.
