FLY FISHING: At Larkwood, the largest bag of 15 fish went to Brian Keyte most of which were taken on a Marabou Damsel. Paul Knights landed a beautiful fully finned rainbow weighing in at 7lb 12oz.
Blackdyke Trout Fishery has been fishing well with plenty of limit bags taken. Floating lines combined with long leaders fished with buzzers, hares ears, damsels and pheasant tail nymphs.
The fishing is really picking up at Narborough Trout Lakes. Just about any fly has been taking fish –goldheads working best when very cold. Flies to try include bloodworms, buzzers, cats' whiskers and montanas.
At South Elmham Lakes John Hauge took three brown trout all over 5lb and four rainbows all over 4lb. Most anglers are taking their bag limits, best flies have been blood worms, buzzers and hare's ear.
