King's Lynn Town break new ground when they travel to Hertfordshire to take on minnows Kings Langley in the Evostik Southern Premier League.
The village outfit are a club on the up, having claimed three successive promotions, but have seen their progress slow down at a higher level.
They currently stand 18th in the table, four points behind the Linnets having played two more games, and their only target now is to consolidate their new found status, something they are well on target to achieve.
Three successive defeats, culminating in a humiliating 6-1 home thrashing at the hands of Weymouth last Saturday, all but ended King's Lynn's chances of gate-crashing the play-off party. But Gary Setchell's side proved they are still a side to be reckoned with when they get it right when they returned from an in-form Merthyr Town side with a hard-fought 1-1 on Tuesday evening.
