Gary Setchell has landed his number one transfer target after convincing John Sands to put pen-to-paper on a deal for next season.
The frontman scored six goals in 10 appearances after joining King's Lynn Town on loan at the end of last term from Boston United.
Linnets boss Setchell immediately went public with his desire to land Sands permanently and earlier tonight announced he had won the race to do so.
'I'm over the moon,' said Lynn's manager.
'We have beaten off some very high-profile clubs to secure the signature. This hopefully will put an early smile on the supporters' faces.'
