King's Lynn Town's lucky streak of landing home FA Cup ties has finally come to an end.
After beating Wroxham 4-1 and then edging Witham Town 1-0 on Saturday the Linnets' next match in the competition will come away from The Walks. Gary Setchell's men will travel to same-level Northern Premier League Barwell in the third qualifying round on Saturday October 10 for a chance to pocket £7,500 prize money and seal a place in the final stage of non-league only knockout action.
The Linnets' last seven FA Cup matches have been in Norfolk during a hot run which had seen their name drawn out of the hat first on 12 occasions out of a possible 16 since 2011.
