King's Lynn Town suffered their first defeat of pre-season last night when they lost 3-1 to Grantham Town.
Grantham opened the scoring on 25 minutes and then netted twice early in the second period to go 3-0 up. Jake Speight then pulled a goal back on the hour mark.
Lynn, who had introduced substitutes Sam Mulready and David Bridges at half-time, made more changes but there was no further scoring.
