King's Lynn Town's Evo-Stik Southern Premier League titles took a huge dent as they were beaten 1-0 at Tiverton on Saturday.
The Linnets made the long trip to Devon knowing that only victory would keep them in touch with leaders Hereford but Tom Bath's second half strike meant Lynn came back to Norfolk pointless.
The loss allowed Hereford to open up a seven-point gap at the top of the table as they cruised to a 2-0 win over Weymouth, who sit just below Lynn in third place.
Second half goals from Myrie-Williams and Keyon Reffell did the damage for Hereford as Weymouth stayed just a point behind the Linnets having played a game more.
Fourth-placed Kettering failed to take advantage of the Linnets' slip up as they were defeated 2-0 at Chesham United, who moved into the play-off positions as a result.

Chesham's goals came through Shane Bush and Lewis Toomey.
There are still plenty of points to be won between now and the end of the season Lynn still having 11 games to play.

However, it appears Culverhouse's side may have to negotiate the play-offs if they are to realise their dream of step two football at the end of the season.
Lynn are next in action on Saturday when Dunstable Town come to The Walks and the visitors will be equally desperate for the points as they look to avoid relegation.
Hereford are away at mid-table Hitchin Town next weekend whilst Weymouth entertain play-off hopefuls Slough Town.
