Gary Setchell was lost for words after watching King's Lynn Town's FA Trophy heroics continue on Saturday.

Lynn claimed their fifth scalp of their season, and the biggest of an epic run so far, to dump Blue Square Premier AFC Telford United out of the competition.

After the 3-1 home win, courtesy of a Steve Spriggs brace and Jason Turner strike, the Linnets' boss admitted The Walks' faithful had witnessed a performance that will live long in the memory.

Setchell said: 'I said to the lads before the game; 'every player has got to have their best game of the season for us to win it', and every single one of them stepped up to the plate.

'I said to the lads before the game; 'it could be one of the most memorable days of your career'. And it will be. There's no question about it. They're three leagues above us. Conference Premier against Evo-Stik Division One South after we've come off the back of a 4-2 drubbing against the bottom of the league side and got written off again by everyone. But this is what it's all about. I don't want to sound cheesy or cliche but this is what dreams are made of.'

Injury-time strikes from Spriggs and Turner denied Telford a replay and kept Lynn's Wembley dreams alive as Setchell's men progressed to the third round.

Setchell, ahead of today's last-16 draw, said: 'I hope we get another big Conference club. The lads deserve it. We've had one. Can we get a Luton Town? Can we get a Grimsby? This is what it's all about. It's unbelievable.'
