Ian Culverhouse will conduct a head count before setting off for Slough Town today as injuries threaten to disrupt his play-off ambitions.
Lynn's place in the end-of-season shootout is sealed, with the chase now on for the valuable second position which ensures home advantage when the regular season goes into extra-time.
And while Thursday's 2-1 home win over Kettering strengthened Lynn's claims, it came at a cost. Leon Mettam pulled up in the warm-up with a calf problem and skipper Michael Clunan departed after just 21 minutes.
'He (Clunan) has a pain in the metatarsal,' said the Lynn boss. 'It is not looking good. He caught the bottom of the studs so hopefully – hopefully – we will be alright on that. At the moment it is very, very sore to touch and not looking that good, but you never know.
'Mettam has a calf and there's also Tom Siddons with a hamstring.
'We have taken a knock tonight, but we meet up Saturday morning and find out how many bodies we can put out and give it a good go again for this football club.'
The Linnets have three games in which to confirm second spot and are currently five points ahead of Weymouth, nine ahead of Slough and 10 ahead of Kettering, but those three have one, two and three games in hand respectively, so the action plan is fairly straightforward.
'These last three games we are just going to try and give it the best we can,' said Culverhouse. 'We are going to go for the nine points. It is going to be a tough ask going to Slough 48 hours (after Kettering) but I wouldn't put it past these players – they have been magnificent.'
Should the final three games prove to be a backs-against-the-wall exercise, then Culverhouse knows he has some warriors in his squad, none more so than striker Michael Gash, who scored the first of the two headed goals against Kettering.
'They were fantastic balls in,' said Culverhouse. 'Frazer Blake-Tracy's stand-up ball to the far post – Gashy thrives on them. I thought Michael Gash was superb tonight, I really did. He led the line, got us up the field, and Cameron King as well. He has just come back after six weeks out and he has played 90 minutes – he is a footballer, a good player.'
