Goalkeeper Rob Bunting was the hero as Division Two William Burt provided the only upset of the League Cup first round by beating Lynn Napier.

'Keeper Bunting saved three spot kicks, and netted the sudden-death winner, as Burt beat Division One Nap 3-2 on penalties after 90 minutes and extra time had failed to separate the sides.

The West Winch side twice led, through Nathan Mitchell's goals, before first Vinny Follen and then Brian King had forced the game to continue.

Chilvers put up a fight against in-form Wisbech CP8 but fell just short, losing 5-3 after-extra-time. Shaun Simpson's hat-trick plus goals from Martin Pettit and Jake Beecham helped CP8 home. Liam Bowley notched a brace for Chilvers, Danny Jezeph scored the other.

FANG edged out Fowler to seal their place in the quarter-finals. Alex Vincent, Jo Malby and Harry Cunliffe found the net for their side. Jamie Palmer and Wayne Plummer replied for Fowler.

England's Hope blasted their way into the last eight by thumping Pott Row Old Boys 6-1. Paul Richardson (2), Michael Chow, Daniel Camp, Luke Jackson and Ben Jimson netted for Hope. Sam Garner scored for Row.

White Bell enjoyed a six-y Sunday morning themselves by beating March Saracens by the same score. Aaron Hodgson (2), Jeff Paul, John Sykes, Lee Mapleson and Joe Allen bagged for 'Bell.

Maltings had to settle for just the nine goals this week as they hammered struggling Terrington Reserves. Red-hot Jack Johnson scored six times in his side's 9-1 triumph. James Ringwood, Danny Clarke and Dion Cuthbert also netted.

Terrington's first team stuttered through 5-2 against Division Two strugglers Elm - who had King's Lynn Town number two Alex Street to thank for keeping the score below double figures. Neil Goodbourn (2), Ian Prudence, Robert Palmer and Dean Twaite-Smith scored for Terrington. Ashton Hodgson netted twice for Elm.

The other tie, between Adrian Flux and Maids Head, was postponed.
