Robert Lambert will be hoping to celebrate his call-up to the Great Britain Under-21 World Cup squad by progressing to the British final.

King's Lynn Stars' teenage sensation, runner-up in last month's British Under-21 final, will ride at number one and captain his country when they take to the tapes in the World Cup semi-final in Denmark on June 4. But tonight, he'll only be focusing on himself.

Lambert will attempt to grab one of the seven qualifying places available from this evening's British championship semi-final at Scunthorpe.

Fellow Stars team-mates Carl Wilkinson and Simon Lambert are also part of the line-up which includes Grand Prix star Chris Harris, former Lynn favourite Lewis Kerr and experienced riders like Simon Stead and Eddie Kennett.

The King's Lynn Young Stars are also in action tonight when they travel to Coventry Storm in the National League.
