King's Lynn Stars have signed Vaclav Milik as Rory Schlein's replacement.
The Czech Republic international comes into Rob Lyon's side as a heat leader in place of the club's injured skipper.
Lynn's team boss said: 'Vaclav is an exciting young rider that I believe will do well around the Adrian Flux Arena. Having spent last season with Poole, he has ridden all the tracks in the Elite League and that will be an advantage. It shouldn't take him long to dial into our track and start to score some points.'
Milik will miss Friday's trip to Lakeside but will make his debut in the return meeting on June 25.
