King's Lynn Stars have postponed tonight's Elite League opener against Lakeside Hammers.
The Stars were due to begin their campaign at the Adrian Flux Arena this evening but with heavy rain forecast an early call has been made to push the meeting back 24 hours.
A statement on the club's website said: 'Lynn's management have been watching the forecast for the past 72 hours and with heavy rain due at the Adrian Flux Arena on Thursday night, there was little option but to postpone the meeting.
'The Stars will now start their season with a double header on Good Friday. The Stars will start their Elite League campaign with a trip to Lakeside's Arena Essex Raceway (1pm).
'Both teams will then travel back to the Adrian Flux Arena to face each other again. The meeting will start at 8pm start time.'
