King's Lynn Stars will not take to the tapes tonight after their home meeting with Coventry Bees was postponed.

British speedway's official Twitter feed confirmed yesterday morning that the clash – set to be screened on Sky Sports – had been called off.

No official reason was given behind the abandonment leaving fans to second guess the cause, most probably a poor weather forecast according to Sky Sports' speedway Twitter feed.

No restaging date has been announced for Elite League Lynn who are now scheduled to return to action at Coventry on Monday April 11.
