Jody Cundy turns to modelling for launch of Great Britain’s London 2012 Olympics kit
Paralympic gold medal cyclist Jody Cundy joined fellow top athletes for the launch of Great Britain's Olympic kit yesterday.
The Walpole St Andrew rider is likely to compete in the team sprint, C4 1km time-trial and individual pursuit at London 2012.
Cundy recently returned from the UCI Para-Cycling Track World Championships in Los Angeles with a gold, silver and bronze and hooked up with the likes of Andy Murray, Jessica Ennis and Sir Chris Hoy at the unveiling of the kit at the Tower of London.
Ennis gave the Stella McCartney-designed team strips the thumbs-up even if her priority is performing well rather than looking the part.
The 26-year-old heptathlon gold medal prospect has her focus on improving her track and field performances, and if the design of the kit helps to that end it will be a bonus.

Ennis told BBC Sport: 'Your main goal is to perform as well as you can, but having great kit that fits you nice, is comfortable, and that you feel really positive in, and confident in, gives you a definite edge to your performance and can help you get a little bit more out of it.'
The Sheffield all-rounder lost her heptathlon world title in Daegu last August and also also had to settle for silver in the defence of her pentathlon crown at the World Indoor Championships in Istanbul earlier this month.

To achieve her podium top step mission this summer, Ennis cannot afford to have any weak events, and she is confident of being ready for the home Games.
She said: 'I went into the World Indoors in really good shape and the aim was to go there and win the gold medal. It would have been a good position to come out of the indoor season.
'Unfortunately that didn't go to plan but I'm still happy with my performances - three PBs (personal bests), a national record, and a lot of positive things to take away from the event.'
