Paralympic legend Jody Cundy showed he is on course for next year's Brazil Games by successfully defending his world title in Holland.
The Wisbech-born cyclist, who shot to fame as a swimmer, won the C4 kilo event at the UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships in Apeldoorn this afternoon.
Cundy said, after his triumph, on Twitter: 'Over the moon with my 10th cycling world title and my seventh straight kilo gold medal. Still getting quicker.'
The 36-year-old's success comes just five months after he was hospitalised through illness as he continues his quest to qualify for Rio 2016.
