Imogen Sida-Page has won the title of English Sport Pistol Champion competing during the English Shooting Championships at the National Shooting Centre, Bisley.

This was a well deserved victory for the 17-year-old as she shot using a pistol she had acquired only the week before. She was also shooting against senior men and women to claim this win.

Halfway through the competition, Imogen was joint fifth but she had a fantastic second half, only dropping seven points out of 300 and in her last 10 shot string – she even scored a possible of 100 out of 100! Imogen attends the Hartismere School in Eye and trains at the Norwich City Target Club, the Waveney Shooting Club and at Bisley with other members of the England and GB squads, numerous times each month.

Her next major competitions are the Junior International, again at Bisley, in August when she shoots against competitors from as far afield as South Africa.

In September, she will be shooting for England at the Commonwealth Shooting Federation European Division Championships in Jersey.
