Holt Rugby Club will be maintaining a proud tradition when they stage their annual Boxing Day match at Bridge Road.
The festive cobwebs will be blown away in time honoured fashion on Tuesday when the club's first team play a team of local players invited by president Paul Williams, with the game kicking off at 11am.
The president's team will include Shelford's Josh Simmons, who will captain the side, and his brother Charlie from Gresham's School, together with players from North Walsham, Diss, Southwold and Norwich.
Holt captain Ashley Woods will be hoping to field a strong side of regular first teamers.
There will also be a fancy dress fixture open to all who are wearing the nominated dress code which this year is 'Hunters and the Hunted'. This game will kick off at 10.30am.
