The Norfolk Alliance have ruled that club groundsmen will have the final say on whether this Saturday's league matches can go ahead.
A statement on the league website said: 'Due to the prolonged period of wet weather, the Frankly Digital Norfolk Cricket Alliance have decided that for matches scheduled for Saturday, May 5, the home groundsman's decision on whether the pitch is playable or not will be final.
'The league are well aware of the lack of time that groundsmen have had to prepare pitches during this wet spell and believe they understand their pitches more than anyone and are in the best position to make a decision.'
