Racing on Thursday evening at Great Yarmouth will go ahead following a 7am inspection.
Clerk of the course Richard Aldous said that although 6mm of overnight rain had fallen on the track, racing would nevertheless go ahead.
'I'd describe it as heavy, testing ground,' he said.
It is the east coast course's first evening meeting of the season with the first race at 5.20pm.
