Acle A have opened a five-point lead at the top of Division One of the Norfolk CIBA County Bowls League after beating Lakeside A 106-63 with George Tubby's rink winning 39-13.

County Arts A are now second after they won at home to Wymondham A by 95-55, Brian Taylor's rink top scoring 29-8. Lynnsport A beat Gallow A in a close game by 75-71 with Stephen Winters' rink winning 30-15.

In Division Three, Pentney A continue to lead the way after they won 89-66 at home to Roundwood A, their rink skipped by R Joplin winning 28-12.

Pinewood Park A have moved into second place following their win at home to County Arts B 100-70, Paul Roylances' rink winning 38-20. Acle B have dropped to third place despite winning away at Lakeside B by 88-47, R Meeks top-scoring 30-15.

Hunstanton beat Browston A at home by 100-57, Colin Bix's rink winning 31-6. Shotford A kept their unbeaten record in Division Three after they won away at Browston B by 109 shots to 64, the Shotford rink skipped by A Leeks top scoring 40-10.

Brecks A won away at Wymondham B by 76-74 with their rink skipped by D Betts winning 33-12.

In Division Five, Shotford B won at home to Dereham B by 80-70, John Hutson's rink winning 30-12. Great Yarmouth B won their first game by beating Roundwood B 112-73.

In the last game before Christmas in the Norfolk CIBA Top Ten League, Pentney beat Acle 91-72 to go top.
