Danny Brown scored four times as pacemakers Blofield enhanced their hopes of retaining the Lovewell Blake Anglian Football Combination Premier Division championship. They beat St Andrews 6-2 and, from two matches more, are now four points ahead of big rivals Cromer, who were in Norfolk Senior Cup action. Lee Askew and Stuart Rushbrook were also on target for Blofield, with Steve Blackett and Alex Ingham replying. Cromer are second on goal difference from Brandon and Acle, who both won again. Goals from Neil Suckling (2) and Matthew Bellingham earned Brandon a 3-2 win over Sprowston Athletic, for whom Colin Wines was twice on target. Daniel Crane (3), Thaine Hacon and Lee Rathbone netted the goals for Acle in their 5-2 defeat of North Walsham, whose marksmen were Jon Blofeld and Oliver Rudd.

Halvergate are fifth in the table after a 5-1 (Nathan Thompson 2, Chris Fielding, James Foreman, Warren Nichols) win over Gorleston Reserves, whose scorer was Liam Landamore.
