This final weekend has a plethora of activity. There are two-day meetings comprising a YBOD Open at Thurne, Norfolk Dinghy Championships at Hickling and River cruisers Open at WOBYC.
Saturday sees Buckenham's Triple B race down the Yare to Breydon and back and Yare Boat Club (Rowing) upstream from Bramerton for the Yare Cup. Sunday has an open meeting at Buckenham, an open downriver from Horning, and a Star Open on Wroxham Broad, plus, for the non-competitive, a taster sail day at Hunters yard for the Norfolk Heritage Fleet.
October starts on a less hectic note, with weekend events on Hickling (Autumn regatta and Enterprise Woodcock salver event) and Wroxham (BOD weekend). Meanwhile Lady YC sail their annual regatta at Thurne, starting on Saturday, October 5 running until Tuesday, October 8.
