Competing in round four of the BMCRC F1 Sidecar series, Team Ryder Racing made their second appearance of the season at Brands Hatch last weekend.
Driver Sam Ryder from Long Stratton, and passenger Ashley Hawes from Kent, quickly established themselves among the front runners. Making the most of the overtaking opportunities, they secured a first place finish in race one, averaging almost 80mph. Race two saw several teams battling for position from the start and TRR could not make ground on the leader and had to settle for a well-fought second place.
During Sunday's race TRR recorded a best lap time of 1:39.361 over the 2.3 mile GP circuit which secured the team a further first place trophy.
TRR were delighted to bring trophies back to Norfolk, in this their first competitive season.
