Two goals in the second half from a dominant Felixstowe kept Great Yarmouth bottom of the Ridgeons Premier League.

A header from Sheppard and a Cranfield tap-in secured the three points in a game that Yarmouth failed to have a notable shot on target.

Felixstowe started the game quickest. A corner won within two minutes found Blake and his shot at the far post was easily stopped by Greygoose. Five minutes later another Felixstowe corner fell to Powell, but his header flew over the crossbar.

The home side continued to create chances without Yarmouth responding with their own. With 15 minutes gone Greygoose was forced into another save, this time when Blake headed Cranfield's cross low to the keeper's right.

The front three of Blake, Cranfield and Cole continued to create problems for the Bloaters' defence all game, with the latter having the best chance to take the lead after 23 minutes. The striker would have scored from within the area if it wasn't for a last ditch tackle from Kemp.

The front three were involved again just four minutes later. Blake racing to get onto the end of Cole's cross, but the acrobatic diving header at the far post rose over the crossbar.

Despite the onslaught Yarmouth didn't concede, but they didn't get a shot on target all half. The closest they got came ten minutes from the interval. McAra pounced on a stray ball on the right, but Vide's cross from the by-line went straight to the goalkeeper with no pink shirts in the box.

Instead Felixstowe ended the half the strongest with Cole involved again. Three minutes from the interval his cross fell to Matthews who saw his shot roll through to Greygoose. A minute later a ball over the top caught out Yarmouth's defence, allowing Cole to run half the length of the pitch and force a save from the goalkeeper, the rebound acrobatically fired over the crossbar by Sheppard.

The onslaught continued into the second half with Felixstowe winning a corner within two minutes. Powell's header rebounded for Blake to volley over the crossbar.

Three minutes later Felixstowe got forward again. Cole's turn and shot in the area after being found by Agricole forced Greygoose to concede a corner. From it the dominance finally told, Sheppard at the near post heading into the net.

Yarmouth's first shot on target came just after the hour mark when a cross from the right found Araujo, his shot cleared off the line.

From that Felixstowe broke, Cole in space on the right was allowed to wander into the area, but his shot was easily saved by Greygoose.

On 65 minutes a 35-yard strike from Duzgan whistled past the far post with the goalkeeper a spectator.

A minute later a through ball found Cranfield in space, but Greygoose did well to parry the striker's low shot away from danger, allowing his defenders to clear.

With 76 minutes gone Felixstowe thought they had doubled their lead when a through ball found Cranfield in space, but he failed to see the linesman raise his flag as the striker rolled the ball into the net.

But the home side doubled their advantage with eight minutes left on the clock. With Yarmouth pushing for an equaliser, Felixstowe broke with four attackers against three defenders. Greygoose did well to parry Duzgan's effort, but was helpless when Cole squared the ball for Cranfield to tap in from within the six yard box.

Substitute Hampson could have made it three when his long range shot hit the outside of the upright following good work from the left.

The only real chance of a consolation came from Formoso when in the first of three stoppage time minutes, his cross was deflected to Jobbagy, who saw his shot blocked. A minute later Formoso's cross-come-shot from the corner of the area flew past the far post.
