That's The Deal, a veteran 13-year-old gelding owned and trained by John Cornwall, is in line for his 20th start at Fakenham on Wednesday when the north Norfolk course holds its second meeting of the new season.

A total of 110 runners have been declared for the seven-race card, the feature of which is the near £8,000 Greene King IPA Handicap Chase over two miles at 2.40pm. The first race is at 1.10pm and the finale at 4.10pm.

That's The Deal, to be ridden by Lee Edwards, won at Fakenham in June and May and had also scored at the course in March and June 2013 and in October 2012. He won last time out 15 days ago at Huntingdon and has won nine of his 86 career starts.

He goes in the 3.40pm Tapping House Hospice Handicap Chase in which trainer Nick Gifford's Brown Bear, if taking his chance, bids for a hat-trick after wins at Fontwell in May and June.

The feature race sees trainer Dan Skelton, who had two winners at the course's opening meeting of the season less than a fortnight ago, potentially run Ashoka, a recent Sedgefield winner. Also among the declarations are recent winners McCabe Creek for Caroline Bailey, Deauville Dancer for David Dennis and Mercian King for Amy Murphy.

If taking his chance, Yeats gelding Royal Ruby from Nicky Henderson's stable could go well in the opening maiden hurdle, having won a bumper on debut at Southwell.

If making the long trip for trainer Graeme McPherson, grey gelding Alexander the Grey, a Worcester runner-up in September, could go well in the 1.40pm handicap hurdle while a former course and distance winner, Shinooki, could top the weights in the 3.10pm three-mile handicap hurdle for trainer Alex Hales.

The famous colours of J P McManus could be represented by Melody of Scotland in the fillies' juvenile hurdle at 2.10pm, the Youmzain filly set to make her debut for trainer Alan King.

The finale is a national hunt flat race for conditional and amateur riders at 4.10pm with Norfolk's Fergus Gregory, a winner at the last meeting, partnering Ballinslea Bridge, making a debut for trainer Olly Murphy after leaving Tom O'Brien's stable.
