Harleston Magpies II held on to top spot in Division 1N as Hayley Toleman's hat-trick destroyed Dereham.

Magpies dominated from the outset, pinning home side Dereham back in their own half.

The pressure told after 10 minutes when Kira Wooltorton's shot was stopped on the line by a defender's foot and Lizzie Jones converted the penalty flick.

The visitors remained in charge and towards the end of the first half, Toleman netted her first league goal for Magpies after an excellent ball in from Jess Howland.

After the break, Toleman profited again from a fine delivery by Holly Baker.

After a period of Dereham pressure, Magpies regained control in the final 10 minutes and Howland had a goal disallowed before Toleman completed her treble with a well-taken flick.

Wisbech cruised to a 5-0 win at Watton and bottom of the table Lowestoft lost 6-1 at high-flying Ipswich II.

Norwich City halted Norwich Dragons' perfect start to the campaign in Division 2NE as the two relegated sides from last season drew 3-3.

Dragons went in front midway through the first half as Nat Beal struck the ball home. City's Sophie Mullan almost conceded an own goal, but just before the break her side got back on level terms as Emily Anthony fired in from a short corner.

Early in the second half, Dragons' Marie James intercepted a free hit and found Laura Shreeve to make it 2-1.

Anthony struck again from a short corner to restore parity and she completed her hat-trick with a smart finish to give City the lead for the first time.

City had Ellie Brine sent off before Claire Baker connected with a cross from Shreeve to complete the scoring and earn Dragons a point.

Sprowston suffered their second successive defeat with a 2-0 reverse at North Walsham.

In a one-sided first half, Walsham enjoyed the majority of possession and Sprowston struggled to create opportunities.

Sprowston coped well with the constant threat from the pacy Walsham wingers, until just before half-time, when the hosts deservedly took the lead.

The visitors created a couple of openings early in the second half, but these came to nothing as Sprowston continued to struggle.

Walsham sealed the win with a second goal midway through the second half, to move above Sprowston in the table.

Old Buckenham collected their first points of the season with a 4-2 win at fellow strugglers Loddon.

The win lifted Buckenham above Loddon in the table and out of the bottom three.
