EARSHAM's season is finally over – and it would be fair to say that 2011-12 has been one of the best for the club in many years.

The first team won Division Two of the Lowestoft League by 10 points. They have also been elected to play in the Anglian Combination next season. The reserves finished in a comfortable sixth in Division Three of the Lowestoft League. The club was recently awarded the FA Charter Standard, which was presented before almost 1,000 spectators at Carrow Road.

The season was finished off with the club's presentation evening held in the village hall, where Matthew Goodfellow won the supporters' player of the season and also first team players' player. Elliott 'Ziggy' Plant won first team's most improved player. Alex Culling and Simon Kirkpatrick jointly won the reserves players' player award and Harry Windridge won the reserves most improved award.

With about 70 people supporting the event, the first team were presented with their medals and Division Two Trophy by Michael Leeds from the Lowestoft League Committee.
