Norwich pair Robert Earnshaw and Carl Robinson have been named in the Wales squad for a training trip to Spain later this month. Striker Earnshaw and his midfield team-mate are in a 23-man squad which will travel to Bilbao to face Basque Country on May 20 and then on to Graz to play England's World Cup group rivals Trinidad and Tobago on May 27.

Also in the squad is former Canaries favourite Craig Bellamy and Ipswich Town keeper Lewis Price.

Sunderland's Danny Collins, just relegated from the Premiership, has asked not to be considered for the two matches while manager John Toshack confirmed that Ryan Giggs will be involved, and play in his first away Wales friendly.

Toshack said: “I have had a long chat with Ryan, he understands how important these build-up games are for us in relation to the European qualifiers next season and he has said he is looking forward to the trip.”
