Local bragging rights are up for grabs tomorrow when Great Witchingham host Horsford in the latest round of Gibbs Denley East Anglian Premier League fixtures.

The Witches are eighth in the EAPL standings, just three points and one place behind Horsford, following a 170-run home defeat to leaders Sudbury last time out.

Their opponents were held to a home draw by Norwich last Saturday, who head to fellow strugglers Bury St Edmunds in search of a first victory of the campaign.

Ashley Watson's side are level on points with the Suffolk side and Vauxhall Mallards ahead of that encounter, with the Ducks facing a tough trip to reigning champions Sudbury.

The leaders are level on points with Swardeston at the summit, who sealed their fourth win on the spin with a six-wicket success at home to Burnwell & Exning last weekend. Tomorrow the south Norfolk side head to fourth-placed Frinton-on-Sea, who drew at Mallards in their last game. The top two are just a point better off than third-placed Mildenhall, who travel to Burwell.
