Play-off chasing Dereham Town will have to reignite their push to break into the top five on Saturday.
The Magpies' trip to Waltham Abbey in Ryman North this evening has been postponed with the Capershotts pitch being covered in snow. While the decision is understandable, what with the cold snap sweeping the country, it's another frustrating call for boss Matt Henman to deal with.
His troops have been unable to build on their excellent 3-1 victory over title-chasing Needham Market which happened a week a go. At the weekend their home clash against Tilbury fell foul of the weather thanks to a waterlogged playing surface.
So Henman will be hoping his troops don't suffer a third postponement on the spin this Saturday when they are meant to visit Cheshunt.
Same-league Wroxham, currently occupying one of four play-off places, already knew they were not going to be in action because they had called off their home fixture against Cray Wanderers last night. The Yachtsmen's next match is scheduled to take place at championship-challenging Harlow Town this weekend.
