The Magpies' Aldiss Park pitch had passed a 9am inspection, but the Essex side decided later that because of bad weather in their region it was unsafe for them to travel.
Neal Simmons' side have now frustratingly gone three weeks without a league game.
The Magpies – who are next in action on Saturday when they travel to Potters Bar – are seventh in the table, one place outside the play-off places, but only on goal difference from Maldon & Tiptree.

The bad weather conditions forced off a number of games for local teams: Lowestoft Town's Bostik Premier trip to Harrow Borough was postponed as were a number of matches in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division, including Great Yarmouth Town's Premier League game at Saffron Walden Town and Fakenham's game at Wivenhoe Town.
